I am Entong He. I am a year-4 undergraduate student at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering with a major in computer science. During my previous years I was very fortunate to work with Prof. Daniel Zhuoyu Long (SEEM) at CUHK; Prof. Chenshu Wu (AIoT Lab) and Prof. Yuxiang Yang (QICI) at HKU; Prof. Anne Broadbent and Dr. Connor Paddock (QUASAR) at uOttawa.
(Research) Interests
- Quantum Information: quantum analogs of classical complexity classes (recently introduced to this field), non-local games, quantum learning, quantum sensing.
- Network and Sensing: sensor network localization, wireless sensing.
News
- [Sep. 2024] Invited as a reviewer for ICASSP 2025.
- [May. - Aug. 2024] Joined uOttawa QUASAR group as a Mitacs GRI 2024 participant focusing on non-local games and multi-interactive proof. Advised by Prof. Anne Broadbent and Dr. Connor Paddock @ uOttawa. See https://quasarlab.org/news/special-quasar-seminar-2024/ for details.
- [Apr. 2024] A refined variant of quantum-enhanced localization is developed during my exchange @ NUS School of Computing. Manuscript submitted to INFOCOM 2025.
- [Dec. 2023] Quantum Ranging Enhanced TDoA Localization was accepted by ICASSP 2024.
- [Aug. 2023] Awarded a conditional offer of the HKU Presidential PhD Scholarship (HKUPS) by HKU Graduate School. Credits to my supervisors.
- [May. - Aug. 2023] Joined HKU AIoT Lab as a HKU Summer Research Programme 2023 participant focusing on sensor localization with quantum sensing. Advised by Prof. Chenshu Wu and Prof. Yuxiang Yang @ HKU.
- [Jul. 2022] First introduced to research, worked on stocking management with proactive resource allocation scheme. Advised by Prof. Daniel Zhuoyu Long @ CUHK.

CV of Failure
Although my life has witnessed minor events of success, failure is inevitably the major theme of it. In the private discussion with my college mate Shunzhuang Huang (also a high school upperclassman, now a PhD candidate @ UChicago Booth), I realized that it is rather significant to memorize these failures so as not to be scammed by some insignificant success. Hope that this rapidly-growing document will be a kick on my backside.
See CV of Failure for details.
