Entong He（何恩桐）

I am Entong He. I am a first-year second-year PhD student at HKU CDS, advised by Prof. Yuxiang Yang and Prof. Chenshu Wu.

I have been fortunate to work with many wonderful mentors and collaborators, including Zihao Li, Yuxiang Yang, and Chenshu Wu (and counting!).

During my undergraduate years, I was very fortunate to work with Prof. Daniel Zhuoyu Long (SEEM) at CUHK; Prof. Chenshu Wu (AIoT Lab) and Prof. Yuxiang Yang (QICI) at HKU; Prof. Anne Broadbent (QUASAR) and Prof. Connor Paddock (U. Calgary) at uOttawa; Prof. Penghui Yao and Mingnan Zhao (Quantum CS @ NJU) at Nanjing University.

Interests

• Quantum: quantum information theory, quantum complexity theory.
• Classical: sensor network localization.

News

• 2026 Jun I attended the 14th Beyond IID in Information Theory workshop (BIID 14), held in my hometown of Shenzhen.
• 2025 Jun I visited TCS @ NJU as a summer research intern hosted by Prof. Penghui Yao, working on the complexity of unitary synthesis.
• 2024 May–Aug I visited the QUASAR group at uOttawa as a Mitacs Globalink Research Intern hosted by Prof. Anne Broadbent and Dr. Connor Paddock, working on non-local games. See here for more details.
• 2023 May–Aug As part of the HKU Summer Research Programme, I joined the AIoT Lab and worked with Prof. Chenshu Wu and Prof. Yuxiang Yang on sensor localization using quantum sensing.
• 2022 Jul I joined CUHK SEEM as a research assistant under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Zhuoyu Long, working on reactive versus proactive product upgrades in dynamic resource allocation (see the related paper).
