Entong He

I am Entong He. I am a first-year PhD student at HKU CDS, advised by Prof. Yuxiang Yang and Prof. Chenshu Wu.

During my undergraduate years, I was very fortunate to work with Prof. Daniel Zhuoyu Long (SEEM) at CUHK; Prof. Chenshu Wu (AIoT Lab) and Prof. Yuxiang Yang (QICI) at HKU; Prof. Anne Broadbent (QUASAR) and Prof. Connor Paddock (U. Calgary) at uOttawa; Prof. Penghui Yao and Mingnan Zhao (Quantum CS @ NJU) at Nanjing University.

Interests

• Quantum Information: quantum information theory, quantum complexity theory.
• Networking: sensor network localization.

Experience

• [June. 2025] I am visiting TCS @ NJU as a summer research intern, I will be advised by Prof. Penghui Yao and working on complexity of state synthesis problems.
• [May. - Aug. 2024] I joined uOttawa QUASAR group as a Mitacs GRI 2024 research intern. I focused on non-local games, advised by Prof. Anne Broadbent and Dr. Connor Paddock. See here for details.
• [May. - Aug. 2023] I joined HKU AIoT Lab as a HKU Summer Research Programme 2023 participant focusing on sensor localization with quantum sensing, advised by Prof. Chenshu Wu and Prof. Yuxiang Yang.
• [Jul. 2022] I worked at CUHK SEEM as a research assistant on stocking management with proactive resource allocation scheme, advised by Prof. Daniel Zhuoyu Long.
